Southern Appalachian School of Dance

The Southern Appalachian School of Dance is a premiere dance training program located in the heart of Southern Appalachia. Students ages 3-18 receive a comprehensive dance training experience led by renowned faculty. Housed within school are three divisions, Pre-Professional, Youth Division, & First Steps. Our diverse curriculum includes classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, theater dance, modern, and contemporary and offers multiple performance opportunities. Our notable faculty members have trained and performed with Joffrey Ballet School, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center, Nashville Ballet, College of New Jersey, Radford University, American Musical and Dramatic Academy, Charlottesville Ballet, Steps on Broadway, American Ballet Theatre, Roanoke Ballet Theatre, and more.
